On Thursday, December 30, 2021, the Student Activities Department at Basra University, with the participation of two teachers and officials of student activities at the university, organized a workshop for entrepreneurship and raising the flag. The lecture was delivered by Scout Leader Dr. Sabah Muhammad Yassin and the leader, Dr. Nahida Abdel-Zahra.
The workshop included the performance of flag-raising ceremonies.

Raising the flag: the definition, the method of standing and raising the flag ... Then the workshop touched on lowering the flag and how to fold the flag and tie it to the pole.
At the end of the workshop, the leader Dr. Sabah, the Scouts Division official at the university, member of the ministerial committee, touched on the role of university scouts in establishing correct personal and social concepts and developing the challenge ability of the rangers, evidence, challenge, adventure and exploration. Indicating that the student activities official should know the interests of the roving through the activities and their application in the college.
