In the southern region qualifiers for Iraqi universities, which is held by the Student Activities Department / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, hosted by the University of Basra, Southern Technical University, Shatt Al-Arab College, Iraq College, College of Treasures and Al-Maqal University.
The qualifiers were held with the participation of 11 public and private universities from the southern Iraqi governorates. The second group included (Basra, Dhi Qar, Al-Kunuz, Al-Ain and Iraq). The Basra team won all the group matches.
