On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the delegation of the University of Basra participated in the activities of the technical conference for the final of the Iraqi Universities Futsal Championship, which is organized by the Student Activities Department in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, hosted by Al-Mustansiriya University and Al-Isra University College.

The conference was attended by the assistant president of Al-Mustansiriya University, the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the director of the Student Activities Department in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, the assistant professor, Dr. Muhammad Zia, and a number of heads and representatives of the delegations participating in the tournament, whose matches will be held in the closed hall of the College of Basic Education for the period 3/2022. 31/22.

Dr. Ahmed informed us that in the meeting, the application of some paragraphs of the international law of the game was discussed, and some legal articles that sometimes raise discussions were clarified. After that, a lottery was conducted and the teams were divided into four groups, the first included the teams of universities (Al-Mustansiriya, Karbala, Anbar, And Al-Isra), and the second was teams (Diyala, Al-Maqal, Technology, and South Technology), and our third group was the teams of universities (Basra, Al-Maaref, Babylon, and the Middle Euphrates), and the fourth group was the teams of universities (Kufa, Al-Farahidi, Dhi Qar). , and conductor).

And Dr. Zia added that the Basra University team was qualified in the southern region qualifiers in the first place, which took place on December 17, where the University of Al-Maqal, the University of Dhi Qar and the Southern Technical University were in the rankings.
