The Basra University’s five-football tournament for Ramadan teachers was launched, organized by the Student Activities Department, on the stadium of the College of Fine Arts, with the participation of (13) teams from the university’s faculties.
The opening match was between the College of Marine Sciences Center team and the College of Veterinary Medicine team and ended with the victory of the College of Veterinary Medicine team. In the second match, the College of Science team defeated the College of Fine Arts team.
Regarding this tournament, Dr. Ghassan Al-Bajari, Director of the Student Activities Department, said that the matches witnessed on the opening day of the tournament were interesting matches, noting that the activities department, after the interruption due to the Corona pandemic, resumed the five-football tournaments for the two teachers, which coincided with the beginning of the blessed Ramadan
