The Iraqi Scouts Association/Iraq Scouts Council participated in the Scout Forum for Rover Specialists in Arab Colleges and Universities

Dr. Sabah Muhammad Yassin / University of Basra / the Iraqi delegation said that the activities of the forum were launched on Monday, May 23, 2022 and from Amman, the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with a distinguished scout delegation.

Scout leader Dr. Sabah said that the goal of the Iraqi Scout Association in participating is to increase the expertise and develop the capabilities of the leaders of the roving leaders and guides in the Iraqi colleges and universities to advance the two stages.
The forum was organized by the Arab Scout Organization - the Arab Scout Region in cooperation with the Jordanian Association of Scouts and Guides and the Federation of Arab Universities, and under the patronage of the Jordanian Minister of Youth and Sports, His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Salama Al-Nabulsi.
    With the participation of representatives of eleven associations in the forum, with the aim of developing the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a mobile activity specialist to support and develop the scouting work management in Arab colleges and universities.
The conference included several topics
• The role and tasks of the mobile activity specialist in Arab colleges and universities.
• The "Arab and international" scouting organizational structure.
• Characteristics of adults and how to deal with them.
• Introducing the roving stage (clan formation / clan organization and management / roving activities).
• Introducing global scouting policies (youth program / youth participation / adults in scouting / protection from harm).
• Curricula of the mobile stage and the mechanisms of their application.
• Introducing the Arab activities (the roving meeting / the pioneers of the races symposium / the Arab Youth Forum).
• Community service and development activities and cooperation with organizations.
• Introducing global scouting programs and initiatives (Scouting for sustainable development/ “Earth Tribe” initiative/ Scout Centers of Excellence for Nature, Environment and Sustainability/ Heroes of the Nature Challenge/ Reducing Plastic Use Challenge/ Scouts and Solar Energy Challenge/ Messengers of Peace Initiative/ Dialogue for Peace Program / It is for her / Scouting and World Heritage), and the mechanisms for its implementation at the national level.
