The University of Basra ranked second in the annual evaluation issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Student Activities Department for public universities and private universities and colleges participating in student activities (sports, artistic, scouting, cultural) for the academic year (2021-2022).

The Director of the Student Activities Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Imad Faraj Badrawi, praised this wonderful achievement, which was the fruit of the efforts of the department’s professors who were working day and night to place Basra University in the ranks of Iraqi universities. The University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali acidi Al-Maliki played the most prominent role for the continuous support they provide us in achieving this achievement, hoping for further progress in the service of our dear university.
