On Sunday, December 11, 2022, the technical meeting was held for the table tennis championships for male and female students and chess for male and female students of Iraqi universities, in the presence of the representative of the supervision and evaluation body, Eng. Ahmed Abdel-Jabbar and … and the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Imad Farag, a member of the Central Committee, and the heads of the university delegations participating in the two tournaments. The session was opened by Dr. Emad delivered a welcoming speech to the participating delegations, and pointed out that student participation should be characterized by sophistication, in line with the university educational environment.

The axes of the meeting included discussion and clarification of the technical points of the two championships by Eng. Ahmed, the representative of the Ministry, pointing to some points and addressing them in the future, such as the participation of first-stage students in the first league of the academic year, and the chess tournament system was determined in the presence of the member of the Iraqi Chess Federation, Mr. Muhammad Hamza, a Swiss system with 7 rounds
Also, in the presence of Mr. Sabah Aziz, Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Central Table Tennis Federation, the table tennis tournament was determined by the group system, 8 groups for male teams and 4 groups for female teams.
