The students of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra participated in the Iraq Festival for Theater in its first session, under the patronage of the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih. The student (Ahmed Muhammad Sabri), a graduate student, and the student (Badour Saad Qassem), a fourth-grade student, said Prof. Dr. Qusay Muhammad Al-Dirawi, Director of Student Activities Department  The Taliban had a major role in the play (It Happened Every Time), and the student Bodour won the best first actress in the festival, and the play was among the ten competing performances.
